Dragon Quest Abel
Yuusha (Japanese and American series)
Unless you taped
them while living in Japan, a complete Abel Yuusha set can be tough
to come by. There were six video tape volumes distributed by Bandai
but they're only a bits and pieces of episodes and nowhere close
to the entire series. A VCD set often pops up on eBay. That set
is a transfer of the six tapes but with Chinese subtitles. The tapes
themselves have been long out of production but eBay seller Cowlauncher
has provided me with the serial numbers of the first three tapes.
They are...
4902425217703
4902425217376
4902425217383
Sometimes you'll
see the first volume pop up on eBay. It's 100 minutes, contains
bits from episodes 1-14, is perfect quality, and is fansubbed in
English.
If you're looking
for the US Dragon Warrior series, I don't know of any sites
that still sell them, but you can download them from the Alefgard
main page in Bit Torrent form.
Episodes
1-7
Episodes 8-13
There is also
a new Abel Yuusha fan sub project. Check it out at Fighting
Magic and snag the torrent here.
Another Abel
Yuusha fan sub project has also recently begun. With their limited
staff it's progressing slowly. If you'd like to help or learn more,
take a glance at their
post on the message board.

General
I only know
a couple of a few western places to purchase manga. If anyone else
knows of a good place, please let us know. Dai no Daibouken

quite often. Emblem of Roto occasionally pops up there too.
Volumes 1-12 of Warriors of Eden, every volume of Dai
no Daibouken and volumes 1-5 of Tenku Monogatari can
be ordered from Sasuga Books.
Amazon
Japan also sells a wide variety of DQ merchandise.
