original version than that which we saw in Dragon Warrior IV.

| Most all of the names were changed in the U.S. release. | |
| The game hints around that Alena and Cristo are sleeping together. Looks like they got a little romantic :) | |
| The houses of healing were censored for religious content exactly as they had been in 2 and 3. | |
| There was some occasional cursing in the original version which was apparantly too dangerous for our innocent American eyes to view ;) |
