This guide will state where all of the Small Medals I have personally found while playing the game. I hope it helps anyone out. At this time I am aware of some that I do not have listed yet, but I am playing through the game again to hopefully find the rest. If anyone knows a better name for places/monsters, please e-mail me, as I have not had any formal education in the Japanese language. Please note that I got the names of places by using Sancho's フローミ: Furo-mi spell. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some monsters can randomly drop Small Medals. ミミック: Mimikku (Mimic) always does, so their locations are in the regular section. The monsters that can randomly drop Small Medals are: #050-ひとくいばこ: Hitokuibako (Cannibal Box) #059-あくまのツボ: Akuma no Tsubo (Devil Pot) #065-はぐれメタル: Haguremetaru (Separating Metal) #094-ツボック: Tsubokku #108-ジェリーマン: Jeri-man (Jelly Man) #145-メタルキング: Metarukingu (Metal King) #156-あくましんかん: Akumashinkan (Devil Priest) Not Numbered-カンダタこぶん: Kandatakobun (Kandata Henchman) *Not Numbered-エスターク: Esuta-ku (Esturk) *Dropped one randomly in the Super Famicom version. I did not get one when I beat Esturk in the remake yet, so do not know if it was changed at this time. /===========================================================================/ | ちいさなメダル: (Metal King Shield) 50 Medals | /===========================================================================/ I have not gotten all items, as in this game each thing costs the number of Small Medals listed. But here is what I either think or know what each item does. せんしのパジャマ: Senshi no Pajama (Soldier Pajamas) are simply a regular armor. I have never bought these. ふしぎなボレロ: Fushigi na Borero (Mystery Bolero) is pretty weak armor, but should absorb the amount of MP a spell costs that is cast against the user by an enemy. きせきのつるぎ: Kiseki no Tsurugi (Miracle Sword) restores about 25% of the damage done to an enemy to to wielder (say you did 100 damage to a monster, you should then get healed 25HP). しんぴのよろい: Shinpi no Yoroi (Mystic Armor) restores some HP each round in a fight, probably around 25-30HP. はやぶさのけん: Hayabusa no Ken (Falcon Sword) is a pretty strong weapon that allows you to attack twice per round. メタルキングのたて: Metarukingu no Tate (Metal King Shield) is the strongest shield in the game, with the most Defense Power. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's it for now, unless I get enough emails about anything else or any additions/changes.
